This painting is inspired by one of my favorite hikes in Virginia, Ravens Rock. After the miles of trekking up and down hills, I can recall the rewarding, beautiful summit overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and woods. Many times, the best summits are after the hardest climbs.
