Yarrow is one of my favorite flowers and herbs! I love the intricate design of the leaves and flower heads.
A dear friend taught me how to look closer at nature and ask questions that lead to discovery. She once kneeled down and asked me what the leaves looked like? After saying whatever came to mind.. she held my wrist and pointed to my veins. Yarrow is a natural bandaid. It resembles blood vessels, and helps stop bleeding when you get a cut.
This was such a reminder to take the time to observe and enjoy the gifts of nature.
